Roman Holiday

$400.00

This painting features my favorite actress in one of my favorite movies. Audrey Hepburn is iconic. But she is typically depicted in her little black dress from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I wanted to capture her joi de vivre from Roman Holiday. The scene where she rides the Vespa for the very first time is so quaint and amazing. Insider scoop… Audrey did not know that Gregory Peck was going to scare her during the mouth of truth scene. I lived in Rome for 5 months in undergrad and this was just so Iconic. Gregory Peck actually died while I was living there (2003) and the city mourned for him and the movie. Hope this brings as much joy to someone as it does to me
